Description

This is a 17th-century barn located about 50 metres north of Barton Farmhouse. It features a timber frame and is weatherboarded, standing on a tarred brick base. The roof is thatched, with some plain tiles around the mid-strey, and has a hipped design with a hipped mid-strey. Inside, the barn consists of three bays with aisles, showcasing curved quadrant bracing and a clasped purlin roof.
