Description
The Blue Pigeons is a public house built in the early 19th century. It features painted brickwork and a slate roof. The building stands three storeys high with a parapet above a hipped roof, which has stacks located at the rear left and rear right. The front facade has a regular arrangement of windows, including three half-sized glazing bar sashes on the second floor, three full-sized glazing bar sashes on the first floor, and two on the ground floor. The central entrance consists of a door with two tall, moulded panels and a rectangular fanlight, framed by a double pilaster surround with a cornice above. There is also a rear outshot that reaches the height of the second storey. This building is included for its group value.
