Description

Corner Cottage is a house dating to 1675, with later 19th-century alterations and extensions. It is constructed of red brick with a plain tiled roof. The house comprises a central, one-and-a-half-storey block set on a weathered plinth, with kneelered gables, two hipped dormers, and stacks to the left and right. Flanking wings, also of one storey, have parapet gables. The central block has four wooden casements and a boarded door beneath a double-width flat hood supported by brackets. Inside, the house features stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, and a post carved with the date 1675.
