Description

This structure consists of a wall and railings located about 35 metres east of Lower Rowling Farmhouse. It dates from the early 19th century and is built on an earlier base. The wall is made of red brick arranged in English and Header Bonds, topped with iron rails. On the left side, a section of the wall extends out from the 6 feet high gate piers to another pier, running along the road for approximately 65 metres at a height of about 2 feet, featuring a plain iron rail. On the right side, the wall rises to about 4 feet for roughly 17 metres without a rail. This structure is included for its group value.
