Description

Garden walls and railings, probably 19th century, are located to the south and east of Home Farmhouse. The walls are made of squared rubble with dressings and feature cast iron elements. Low walls with chamfered coping support plain railings and flank a central gateway that has monolithic arched piers. To the left, a taller wall with arched coping curves back and ramps up to connect with an outbuilding to the west of the farmhouse. To the right, a similar taller wall runs alongside the house and extends past the yard entrance to join the north-east corner. These structures are included for their group value.
