Description

The farm buildings located northwest of Stocksfield Hall Farmhouse date from the early 19th century and are constructed from coursed stone with stone dressings, particularly squared stone at the south end of the west range. The roofs are primarily stone slate, except for the gingang and the south end of the west ranges, which use Welsh slates. The buildings are arranged around a yard, with the gingang situated at the rear of the north range.

The north range, which serves as barn and shelter sheds, features five segmental-headed arches, most of which are blocked. The west range, used for stables and shelter sheds, has three similar arches. The buildings include boarded doors set within alternating-block surrounds and part-slatted windows, all topped with hipped roofs. The rear elevation of the north range displays a projecting apsidal gingang, which has an external stone stair leading to a boarded door on the right.
