Description

The stables located about 20 metres south of Ratling Court are a stable block dating from around 1600. They are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, featuring red brick infill on the return fronts and topped with a thatched roof. The building is one storey high with a loft, and it has a boarded door along with irregularly placed window openings. Inside, there are three bays with cobbled floors, loose boxes, and a manger. The roof is supported by queen struts and includes wind bracing.
