Description
The Barbican Players is a building located at 3 Upper Strand Street, constructed from flint and 1 1/2-inch Dutch brick, extending to the Quay. It features a series of modern casement windows along Bell Lane, while the upper windows retain their original oak frames. The roof is made of corrugated asbestos, and the elevation facing Upper Strand Street is considered poor. There is a cottage on the Quay that is part of No 3 Upper Strand Street, dating from the 17th century, made of yellow brick with Caen stone dressing and a tiled roof. This cottage has a mixture of windows, including four box sashes and two casements, along with old brick arches. Nos 3 and 5, along with The Quay, form a group.
