Description

This is a yellow brick warehouse known as the Gardeners, dating from the mid-19th century. It features red brick arches, a deep painted fascia, and metal glazing bars with opening lights in 11 windows. This building exemplifies typical industrial architecture of its time. The warehouse, along with the buildings or walls facing the Quay at Nos 3 and 5 Upper Strand Street, forms a cohesive group.
