Description
Flint Cottage, located at No 65 on High Street in Blakeney, is a building that likely dates back to the 17th century. It is constructed from quaternary beach flint with stone quoins and features later brick dressings. The cottage has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends and brick dentil eaves, and it stands two storeys tall.
On the first floor, there is a small casement window with glazing bars and a sash window. The ground floor has a large modern casement window, also with glazing bars. The left-hand doorway features stone jambs and has an 18th-century doorcase with a flush-panel door, above which is a small window with glazing bars.
At the front, there is a small stone ogee-headed cusped window, which is probably reused from another building, and other stones set into the front wall may also be from different structures. The cottage is situated in a yard to the east of High Street.
