Description

Nos 83 and 85 on High Street, dated 1736, are a pair of one-storey plus attic buildings constructed of flint with a pebble-dash front. They feature a steep pantile roof with coped gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The ground floor has three later casement windows with glazing bars. No 85 has a modern glazed door, while No 83 has a doorway at the side within a modern lean-to. A central brick chimney stack is present, and there is a datestone at the centre of the front that reads "EB 1736".
