Description

No. 59 on High Street is a mid-19th century building constructed from flint cobbles with painted buff brick dressings. It features a black-glazed pantile roof with coped gable ends and stands two storeys tall. The first floor has three windows, although the central window is blocked, and the remaining windows are sash types without glazing bars. The central doorway is adorned with fluted pilasters, a decorated frieze, and a cornice supported by console brackets, leading to modern glazed doors. This building is included for its group value.
