Description
Nos 11 and 13 High Street are two buildings of different periods, both standing at two storeys tall with stuccoed and painted brick walls. No 11 features a mid-19th century shop window at the north corner, which has vertical glazing bars only. Above the window is a moulded cornice supported by carved brackets at either end and pilasters. The ground floor has modern mosaic beneath the windows and a pair of modern doors set in the original openings. This block has tiled roofs and extends into Upper Strand Street, where it has two first-floor windows facing the Barbican, both containing original glazing bars.
