Description
This is a mid-17th century building on Church Street, originally comprising numbers 23, 25, and 27, now numbers 23-27. The building was subsequently altered and refaced, but retains a trace of a bressummer (a timber beam) just below the first floor. It is two stories high with five windows on the ground floor. The ground floor is constructed of painted brick, while the first floor is finished with cement render. The windows are casement windows, one with a small number of square leaded panes. Numbers 13 to 23 (the odd numbers) and 27 to 33 (the odd numbers) of Church Street form a group.
