Description
Court Lodge Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from the 15th century. It is an L-shaped timber-framed structure that is plastered, standing two storeys high with five windows. The roof is tiled, and there is a 17th-century external chimneystack featuring clustered stacks. The easternmost window bay projects, and its first floor oversails with a hip roof above it. The next window bay projects slightly less and has a gable above. The westernmost window bay has a very small projection, with its first floor also oversailing under a hip roof. Between these projections, there are two dormer windows on the first floor. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a long L-wing. The interior features exposed beams and inglenook fireplaces.
