Description
This is an early 19th century terrace of eight buildings, numbered 11 to 18, on the south side of Blackfriars Street. The buildings are not entirely uniform in appearance, with numbers 14 and 15 slightly elevated. They are stuccoed and have stone coping. Each building has two storeys and a recessed panel above the first-floor numbers. Each has a single sash window with intact glazing bars and wooden sills. Numbers 16, 17 and 18 have an additional window space. Simple, round-headed doorcases with blocked fanlights are present, except at number 14. Some original four-panel doors remain, along with some restored doors. There are two stone steps leading to the entrances. Numbers 11 to 18 form a group of buildings of group value.
