Description

This is an early 19th century terrace of ten buildings, located on the west side of Blackfriars Street. The buildings are not uniform in appearance. The first eight buildings are constructed of red brick, while numbers 9 and 10 are stuccoed. They have tiled roofs with stone coping. The windows are sash windows; numbers 1 to 6 each have a single sash window, and numbers 7 to 10 have five. Each building has a simple round-headed doorcase with a semi-circular fanlight, these fanlights have glazing bars of varying designs or are blocked. The doors are six-panelled. Numbers 1 to 10 form a group of buildings of group value.
