Description

This is an early 17th century timber-framed building, now located at 4 and 5 Mill Lane. The front elevation has been plastered over, concealing the original timbering. The building is two storeys high and has a restored tiled roof with one large brick chimney. There are two casement windows. The left side of the building retains exposed timber framing, which has been filled in with modern brick. A modern extension has been added to the rear. Nos 2 to 12 Mill Lane form a group.
