Description
The Hall and Chapel of St Augustine's College is a 14th-century building that has been restored. It is two storeys high, constructed of rubble with a restored tiled roof. The side elevation features two storeys of flint with stone lancet windows. The first floor retains its crown-post roof and a fine stone fireplace. The chapel includes an early English structure set above a vaulted undercroft. The building is part of a group that includes No 1, the wall adjoining No 1 to the right, a water pump opposite No 1, No 2, Nos 4 to 18 (even), St Augustine's College, the Hall, the Chapel, The Cemetery Gateway, The Great Gateway, and the wall in front of St Augustine's.
