The buildings have hipped slate roofs and pilasters extending from the ground floor to the second floor. Oxenden House has five sash windows on the third floor with only vertical glazing, and three sashes on the other floors. It also features a cast iron verandah and a tent-shaped canopy on the first floor, along with simple doorcases. Hamilton House and Beaufort House share a double Doric porch.
