Description

Bockham Farm Cottage is a house dating from around 1600, with later cladding from the 19th and 20th centuries. It has a timber frame and is covered with red brick and asbestos tile hanging on the first floor, topped by a plain tiled roof. The cottage is two storeys high with a hipped roof featuring a central cluster of stacks. On the left side, there are metal casements on each floor, and a central gabled brick porch that has a boarded door to the left and two metal casements. The rear elevation includes three metal casements on each floor. Inside, there are moulded fitted cupboards in the kitchen inglenook, and the roof features clasped purlins, which have been renewed in the northern half.
