Description

This building is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, located 30 yards west of Ripple Farmhouse. It dates from the 17th century and was clad in the 19th century. The structure is timber framed and covered in red brick, topped with a plain tile roof. It features a lobby entry and stands two storeys high on a plinth. The roof is hipped with gablets, and there is a stack positioned at the center left, at the top of a flight of steps that has a cast iron hand rail.
