Description
The barn at Court Lodge Farm is a 15th-century structure featuring a timber frame built on a plinth of flint and rubble, with some repairs made using brick. The exterior is clad in weatherboard and topped with a plain tile hipped roof, which has hipped strays on both the left and right sides. Inside, the barn consists of eight aisled bays of varying sizes. It includes passing shores to the arcade posts, arched bracing to the arcade plates and tie-beams. The three bays on the right have crown posts that are undecorated and feature arched bracing, while the remaining roof structure is supported by clasped purlins. Some arched wind braces are also present.
