Description

The Statue of Neptune is located in the swimming pool court of Godmersham Park. It dates from the late 17th century and is possibly of Italian origin, designed in a Berninesque style. The statue is made of marble and features a metal trident. It depicts a full-size figure of Neptune slaying a sea monster, positioned on a pedestal with a plinth and base.
