Description
The Old Post Office is a mid-19th century building that has been converted from a shop to a house. It features painted brickwork and a plain tile roof. The structure is two storeys high and has a hipped roof with a dogtooth cornice, with stacks located on the left and right sides. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows on the first floor, which are glazing bar sashes with gauged heads, and the central window is both gauged and keyed. On the ground floor, there is one glazing bar sash window to the left and a 20th-century plate glass shop window to the right. The entrance is a central panelled door set within a one-storey porch that has a kneelered gable. This building is included in the register for its group value.
