Description

Trimworth Manor is a manor house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th and 20th centuries. The building is timber framed, with the first floor plastered and the ground floor underbuilt in red brick. It has a plain tile roof and consists of three stages of construction.

On the left side, there is a two-storey brick section with a hipped end and a projecting stack to the left, featuring one wood casement window on each floor. The central section is also two storeys, with brick on the ground floor and a plastered timber frame above, showcasing an exposed bresummer on the first floor. The roof slopes down to the right and has a stack on the left. This section includes a four-light casement window on the first floor and French windows on the ground floor.

The right side is recessed and also two storeys, combining brick and plaster, with a hipped roof and an end stack to the right. It features a four-light casement window on the first floor and French windows on the ground floor. In the re-entrant angle to the right, there is a two-storey gabled porch with a curved bargeboard and pendants, supported by a moulded wood cornice and brackets. The porch has a four-light oriel window, which is supported by curved brackets and adorned with an eagle and two women carrying shields, representing the arms of Kempe.
