Description

Further Northfield is a house that was originally a pair of cottages, dating from the 17th century and clad in the 18th century. The building features a timber frame, with some parts exposed and painted brick infill, and is underbuilt in red brick. It has a plain tile roof and stands one storey high with an attic on a plinth. The roof is hipped with gablets and includes two hipped dormers, along with a ridge stack located to the right. The house has four wood casement windows, with one additional window to the right in a catslide outshot. There is a 20th-century board door set in a segment-headed opening to the right.
