Description

The Oast is a former pair of cottages that has been converted into a house. It dates from the 17th century and was clad in the 18th and 19th centuries, with a brick dated 1791 located to the east by the door on the right. The building is timber framed and covered with red clay brick, featuring a thatched roof with plain tiles around the dormers. It has one storey and an attic, with three gabled dormers and stacks positioned to the centre right and right. The ground floor has six wooden casement windows, a board door to the left set in a gabled porch, and another board door at the end on the right. The left side of the building displays exposed timbers.
