Description

BIDDENDEN TENTERDEN ROAD 1. 5272 (west side) Vine House Vine Cottages (formerly listed as Vine Cottages) TQ 8538 16/84 16.8.62. II

  1. The main portion is a C16 or earlier timber-framed building with plaster infilling in the north wall, its 1st floor oversailing on the protruding ends of the floor joists, a beresressumer and brackets, but the front facing the road has been refaced with red brick and tiles. Two storeys. Tiled roof. Three casement windows with small square leaded panes. Small gabled portion built out at the east corner. To the south-west is a C19 additon in red brick and grey headers with a tile-hung gable.
