Description

The Malt House is an 18th-century building located on the west side of Tenderden Road in Biddenden. It is two storeys high and features a roughcast facade with a hipped tiled roof. The building has two sashes with intact glazing bars. The doorcase is adorned with pilasters and a pediment, which includes a semi-circular tympanum that imitates a fanlight, and a door made up of six fielded panels. A verandah with a tiled canopy now obscures the pediment of the doorway on the ground floor. Above the doorway on the first floor, there is a circular decorative panel featuring a fan pattern.
