Description

The headstone to Richard Jervis is located about 10 metres south-west of the Church of St. Matthew. It commemorates Richard Jervis, son of Robart, who died in 1726. The headstone stands approximately 2 feet high and features a raised and fielded panel with a rocaille scrolled head. It is adorned with a scrolled floriate cornice and includes a winged hourglass flanked by crossed torches.
