Description
This is a headstone located approximately 9 meters south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Giles in Goodrich. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone. The headstone features a shaped top with a winged cherub, flanked by a scrolled motif and a cartouche, along with a convex inscription panel. It commemorates William Jenings, who died in 1719, and his wife Elizabeth. This headstone is a fine example of local craftsmanship and contributes to the overall setting of the church.
