Description
14 North Street is a timber-framed building that was refronted in the 18th century, although the original framing is still visible in the north wall at the back. The building has two storeys and attics, with a stuccoed exterior. It features two dormers and a tiled roof with a modillion eaves cornice. There are five sash windows with verticals only, and a modern shop front with a wrought iron shop bracket. The side elevation is partially tile hung, while the rear elevation has a half-hipped roof and loading doors. Additionally, there is a 19th-century two-storey red brick extension at the rear. This building is part of a group with Nos 14-32 (even).
