Description

Broadmead is a timber-framed building, largely refronted in the 18th century. The main part of the building is two storeys, constructed of brown brick with a rubble base. It has a hipped tiled roof, and four casement windows to the upper floor. The ground floor features two modern bays, each with five lights, and two sash windows. A modern porch with a tiled roof is also present. A later, single-storey extension to the right-hand side is built of red brick and contains one sash window. A left-side wing is two storeys high and tile-hung, incorporating some curved tiles, with a hipped tiled roof and sash windows.
