Description
Broadmead Manor is a late medieval timber-framed house that was altered in the 18th century. The building is now fronted with sandstone rubble on the ground floor and tiles above, and it stands two storeys high with three windows. Two of the first-floor windows are topped with gables, creating the appearance of half dormers. All the windows are sash windows, and they retain their glazing bars. There is a painted brick porch dated 1700, which features the initials B W E. To the left, there is a wing that is also two storeys tall and styled similarly, but it has a Victorian canted bay window added. This wing includes a smoke louvre. Broadmead Manor and its associated barn are part of a group.
