Description

Winser Cottage is a house likely dating back to the 16th century or earlier, although it was re-clad in the 18th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is faced with red and blue brick. The roof is tiled and hipped, with gablets, and includes stacks at the end on the left and clustered towards the centre on the right. The ground floor sits upon a ragstone plinth. The front has two tripartite windows with leaded wooden casements and shutters on each floor; the first floor window has a small central light. A central door features six panels, with the top two panels glazed. The interior is reportedly still in its original timber-framed configuration.
