Description

Nos. 16 and 16A on The Street is a house pair dating from around 1800. The building is constructed of red brick with tile hanging on the first floor, topped with plain tiled and slated roofs. It consists of two parallel ranges and stands two storeys high beneath a hipped tiled roof. The front features a regular arrangement of three glazing bar sash windows on the first floor and two on the ground floor, with a central six-panel door. There is a canted multi-paned bay window on the right side. To the right, there is a single-storey extension made of brick and weatherboarding, which has a corrugated iron roof and a boarded door leading to 16A.
