Description

Bower Cottages is an early 18th-century house pair, located on the east side of The Street in Mersham. The cottages are constructed of red and blue brick with a plain tiled roof. They are one storey and attic in height, with a half-hipped roof featuring four hipped dormers and stacks positioned to the left and right. The front elevation has four segmentally headed wooden casement windows, as well as boarded doors located centrally to the left and right, both within segmentally headed surrounds. A catslide roof extension projects from the rear.
