Description

This barn, located about 20 metres south of Fagg's Farmhouse, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weather boarded, featuring a plain tiled roof set on a ragstone base. The barn has a hipped roof, with four plain lights on the left side, one on the right, and central double boarded carriage doors. Inside, the barn consists of five bays with a single aisle, showcasing large scantling sawn timbers, moulded jowls, and a clasped purlin roof. This barn is a well-preserved example of a late Kentish barn and is noted for its group value.
