Description

Cross House is a house dating from the 17th century or earlier, with a late 20th-century extension. It is timber-framed and originally clad in red brick, although the front elevation is now painted with weather boarding on the first floor. The roof is tiled and hipped, with a central stack. The house consists of two parallel ranges. It has two storeys, with two wooden casement windows on each floor, and a central panelled door featuring a moulded flying cornice. A hipped rear wing is also present. The building is included on the heritage list for group value.
