Description

The Music School of St Mary's College, built in 1903-1904 by E S Prior, is a notable structure located on Romans Road. It is constructed of flint with stone dressings, featuring stone-faced sections on the first and second floors. The building stands two to three storeys high, with bands and pilasters in stone. It has mullioned lattice windows and a doorway topped with a broken pediment. The roofline is varied, incorporating both triangular and segmental pediments, along with a conical roof that has a cupola over part of the building. The roofs are covered with slate, and the interior is described as interesting.
