Description
No. 61 Kingsgate Street is a building from 1833 located on the west side of the street. It is three storeys tall and constructed of red brick, featuring grey brick strings between the floors, a minted brick dentil cornice, and a parapet. The facade includes three windows, with a square grey brick panel in the center. The entrance is an arched door, set off-center, which has a fanlight above it. The doorcase is detailed with panelled reveals, reeded pilasters, reeded console brackets, and an open pediment. The building has six-panel doors and sash windows with glazing bars, except on the top floor where the windows do not have glazing bars. The roof is tiled.
