Description

No. 3 Chesil Street dates to the late 18th century and is a brick building. The front was altered in the 19th century, most notably with the addition of a shop front. It is two storeys high with an attic, and has five windows, featuring 19th-century sash windows. The main entrance has a good six-panel door topped by an open, bracketed pediment. The building features a modillion eaves cornice and three dormers in the roof. It forms a group with Nos. 1, 4-12 (even), and St Peter’s Theatre.
