Description
Nos 15 and 17 in Warminster Market Place date from around 1830 to 1840. This building has three storeys and an attic, constructed of painted brick with stone dressings. It features side pilasters with shop fascia-type brackets above the necking, an astragal, a cornice, and a coping to the parapet. The roof is covered with old tiles and has one small dormer. There are two ranges of windows with late glazed sashes. The first floor has moulded architraves and cornices with flush blocking courses, while the second floor has shaped architraves and keystones. The ground floor has a modern shop front, with the entrance to No 15 located on the left. The rear of the building is made of rubble and is enclosed by extensions from Nos 13 and 19, creating a small courtyard.
