Description

The King's Arms is a public house located on Weymouth Street in Warminster, built around 1830 to 1840. It is a three-storey building constructed of ashlar stone. The left side of the building reflects a Tudor style similar to that of the adjacent No 1, while the right side features a more plain classical design.

The left section has a gabled break with a coped gable, which includes a single light window, a two-light mullion window on the first floor, and a large segmental coach arch with a hood mould on the ground floor. The main part of the building has five windows with glazing bar sashes, a decorative band above the ground floor, a moulded cornice, and a parapet. There is one ashlar chimney with a moulded capping and one brick chimney.

On the ground floor, there are two late glazed windows and one tripartite glazing bar sash. The building features two doorways that are paired in the center, with three-centred heads in panelled spandrels and reveals. The left-hand door has been altered, while the right-hand door is a six-panelled design with a traceried fanlight.
