Description

No. 6 Chesil Street is an early 18th-century building of two storeys and an attic. It is constructed of painted brick with a brick string course marking the level of the first floor, and a moulded coved eaves cornice. The roof is covered in old tiles. The front has five windows, with two being blank, and features sash windows with glazing bars. Two dormers light the attic space. The door is set within an open pedimented doorcase with a six-panel door and a fan above. The building forms a group with Nos. 1, 3, 4 to 12 (even) and St Peter's Theatre.
