Description

Number 9 College Street is a building dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It has a basement, two storeys, and an attic, constructed of painted brick. The building features a moulded cornice and an old tiled roof. There are three windows with sash bars. Access is via a door located at the top of a flight of steps, which has wrought iron railings. The doorcases are adorned with reeded architraves and flat hoods supported by brackets. There are decorative bands at the first-floor level, and the entrance includes a six-panel door. Inside, there is 17th-century panelling, and an insurance plaque is also present. All the listed buildings along College Street are part of a group.
