Description
Number 26 Norwood is a building dating from around 1719. It has two storeys and is constructed of colourwashed brown brick with an asbestos pantile roof. The gable end features tumbled brickwork. The building has four windows, which are hung sashes without glazing bars, and are topped with gauged flat arches that include keystones on the ground floor. The windows also have moulded stone cills. A flat stone hood supported by brackets covers the six-panel door, which has a narrow three-light rectangular fanlight above it. Inside, there is a good staircase, two panelled rooms, and an interesting opening to the kitchen fireplace.
