Description

The Headmaster's House at St Mary's College was built between 1839 and 1842 by G S Repton. This Gothic-style building features knapped squared flint with stone dressings and stands three storeys tall. It has straight-headed windows with pointed lights and slate roofs topped with tall Tudor stacks. The rear wing is plain Georgian, with sash windows that have glazing bars. The overall design is asymmetrical Georgian with Gothic detailing. The Headmaster's House is part of a group of listed buildings on College Street.
