Description
Number 1 Bridge Street is a building from 1833, featuring three storeys and constructed of red brick. It has a brick dentil cornice, a parapet, and a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The two-storey front facing the street has an upper storey that is tile hung and includes one window with a modern shop front. The river-facing side has four irregular sash windows with glazing bars, including a notable bay window at the first floor level. This building is positioned at a right angle to and connects with the City Mill. Numbers 1 to 4 Bridge Street form a group with the City Bridge in High Street and number 1 Water Lane.
